My name is Rachel Wakeman, and I grew up in Wisconsin, USA. I have a degree in Creative Writing and Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I am currently teaching English at Wuhan University of Science and Engineering in Wuhan, China.
Because I have a passion for both children and music, I am very excited to take part in this organization. I have been playing the piano and drums since my childhood, and I have been in choirs and a cappella groups throughout my schooling as well. I have also had many opportunities to work with children. I was a nanny for two adorable young children in Eau Claire, and I student taught in an elementary school in the Dominican Republic.
